What to Expect Before Your Initial Appointment

We want to streamline your first appointment so you don’t have to spend time filling out forms in the office. Required new patient forms are available when you register with our practice and patient portal. Forms are also available in our Download Center to print and complete before your first appointment.

Please review our new patient no-show policy and the full Fee Schedule before your appointment, and call our office if you have questions. A $50 deposit is due before your appointment can be scheduled.

Your initial visit is important — we’ll discuss your medical history and lifestyle to develop a customized weight loss plan. If you have children, please arrange childcare so we can keep the focus on your goals.

On the Day of Your Initial Appointment

Please bring your driver’s license or another form of picture identification for our records.

Bring payment (debit, credit, money order, or cash) for the new patient fee, due on the day of your visit.

What to expect at your first visit

Basic tests to create your unique wellness profile:

• Blood Testing — a complete blood panel for an overview of your body’s chemistry (glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, thyroid, and more). Results are reviewed on your second visit.
• Electrocardiogram (EKG) — to measure your heart’s health; results are discussed during your visit.
• If any results are dangerously out of range, we will let you know before your next scheduled visit.

Plan of treatment

Our doctor will recommend a plan of treatment to begin before your next appointment. This plan may include any or all of the following:

• Supplements
• Lipotropic vitamin B injections (optional)
• Exercise programs
• Meal plans
• Appetite suppressants or other medications (when appropriate)

Patient Appointment Fees

Key visit fees are summarized below. See the full 2026 Fee Schedule for hormone therapy, labs, and other services.

Lipo-B injections (if prescribed weekly)

$30 per injection, or 3 injections for $50 (must be used within 30 days of purchase). Standalone injection visits do not require a provider appointment fee.

No-Show Policies

We value your time and effort. These policies help our offices run efficiently, protect appointment availability, and accommodate patient needs.

New Patients

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due when you schedule your initial appointment. When you attend, that deposit applies to the $295 new patient fee, so $245 is due at the visit.

To reschedule, you must do so at least two business days (Monday–Thursday) before your appointment. If you fail to reschedule, or arrive more than 15 minutes late without informing our office, you forfeit the $50 deposit.

We accept the $50 deposit via:

• Cash
• Money order (must be received before we can schedule)
• Debit card
• Credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, or American Express)

We must receive this deposit before scheduling. We cannot accept checks.

Established Patients

No deposit is required. If you miss your appointment, are more than 15 minutes late, or fail to reschedule at least 24 hours beforehand, a $25 no-show fee is charged and due at your next appointment.

After two consecutive missed appointments, we cannot reschedule until we receive the $50 in no-show fees for those visits.
